The Global Business Travel Association conducted a survey recently, which came out with not-so-surprising conclude that technical amenities are high priorities for business travelers. The survey was conducted online among 407 American business travelers who have taken at least 4 business trip in last one year, and above eighty percent of them cited that technological facilities are most important when it comes to hotel services & amenities. This is not just the scenario in the USA, UK or other European country, but even in Asian countries like India the same results can be expected.

Technology has been perceived a key tool by business travelers, as they think it an instrument to increase their work efficiency and make them stay in touch while being away from home and office. Internet connectivity allows them to be in touch with their personal and professional networks. What could be better than enjoying a holiday acknowledging all is well at home and office? Unarguably, holidays are meant for funs & pleasures away from hectic business schedule, but more or less we all love to stay connected with loved ones.

Considering this, most of reputed hotels have started offering free internet services or wi-fi to their guests, no matter whether they are traveling for business or not. Modern entertainments including online games and latest music systems are offered to enhance their accommodation experience. And the guests are even ready to pay reasonable amount for that. They understand importance of being surrounded by technology, what if they are at vacation. At all major tourist spots in India like Goa, Shimla, Kerala and Mumbai, most of mid-range and luxury hotels provide these facilities. Even Haridwar hotels and Coimbatore hotels do the same for their guests. Really, travel scenario has changed a lot, but all with good concludes.
